James Randi, a magician and skeptic debunks claims by faith healers, psychic healers, water diviners and others. He uses well designed double blinded studies to prove that the claims by these individuals of extraordinary powers are false. He has offered a large reward for anyone who can pass his rigorous testing. So far no one has. This is not a book for someone who believes that people can perform miracles or have psychic powers. It is a good book on testing the veracity of people's claims.  I have attended one of his lectures and found it to be very entertaining and thought provoking. He challenges peoples abilities to accurately perceive reality.
